The right tool for every agent request

Hive picks the best tool for an agent's request, says how that tool is likely to fail, calls it, and checks the result against what it said.

Why it exists

How it works

Hive is an MCP server with three tools, and every call's outcome makes the next choice better.

  1. 1. Searchsearch_tool takes the request in the user's words and returns the best tool, its input schema, and a profile: how likely it is to succeed, and how it usually fails.
  2. 2. CallThe agent fills in the arguments, and call_tool calls the tool. Hive never invents arguments, and asks for confirmation before anything destructive.
  3. 3. VerifyHive judges whether the result satisfied the request, names the failure mode if not, and says whether its prediction held.
  4. 4. LearnEach verdict is recorded, so every tool's reliability and failure profile sharpen with use.

select_tool looks up any one tool by its id, for comparing alternatives before a call.

Try it

Once Hive is connected, ask for something and start with "Use Hive":

Use Hive: if I invest $10,000 at 7% a year for 20 years, what does it grow to?

During early testing, Hive can call about 350 tools on 42 connectors that need no sign-in: finance calculators, website audits, public records, crypto checks and more. Gmail, Slack, GitHub and anything else behind a personal account are out of scope for now.

Your data

Hive doesn't store your requests, the arguments your agent sends, or the results tools return. They stay in memory only while Hive searches, calls and checks, and are gone within 10 minutes. Hive's logs don't record them either.

What Hive keeps is labels and numbers: which kind of tool was used, whether the call worked, and how confident Hive was. That's all it needs to learn which tools are reliable. The tool Hive calls receives your agent's arguments, as with any MCP tool.

Testing with an agent

Before an agent tests or reviews Hive, give it the testing prompt. It explains what Hive covers today, what each tool returns, and how to tell Hive's mistakes from a connector's.
